Last week, after a visit to India’s nuclear test site in Pokhran, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that while the country’s No First Use policy, which is part of its nuclear doctrine, had held together well so far, the future would depend on the circumstances. This raised several questions and apprehensions that India may revise its nuclear posture.
