The Duleep Trophy has become a farce and a disgrace (‘Sport’ page, “Nadeem, Rasool spin a web around India Blue”, August 27). The match between India Red and India Blue, with India Blue struggling at 128 for 8 wickets, was called off. I wonder why, especially when there was an hour of play left and 15 overs remaining. The India Red team’s remark was shocking. The captains and the officials are a disgrace to the game of cricket. This is a sad reflection on Indian cricket.
