Shocking

May 25, 2011 11:45 pm | Updated 11:45 pm IST

It is shocking to hear that the ITBP has slapped a bill of Rs.10.87 crore on the Maharashtra government for guarding Ajmal Kasab at the Arthur Road jail in Mumbai. In the name of ensuring a fair trial, the government is wasting a lot of public money on Kasab. The lives of Indians in Pakistan is miserable and under constant threat. On the other hand, a terrorist from Pakistan is treated here with tremendous care and concern. The money spent on protecting Kasab can be used on the welfare of the families of those who die in gun battles with militants.
