Service and PSUs

After being a BSNL landline and broadband subscriber for nearly 20 years, I recently terminated the broadband service with a heavy heart on account of poor service and high bills.As a retired government servant I had an affinity towards a fellow government department despite many inherent problems. It is odd that BSNL despite many advantages continues to treat a customer with indifference. There are a number of former subscribers who would still like to go back to BSNL if it can guarantee good service. Will BSNL realise where it stands today? This is a competitive world (“Parliamentarians want to ditch BSNL/MTNL over poor service”, October 13).
