Page 1 pictures

I appreciate the Note on pictures on the first page (July 14). However, I believe it was not a good idea to publish pictures of mutilated bodies. Young children, who do not yet read, could see only the pictures of the dead. They could not be expected to understand the intention of the editors, which was mentioned in the note.

As a teenager, I was aghast on seeing the pictures. Every morning, when people see the newspaper, the first thing they see is the front page. It is really disturbing to see such pictures the first thing in the morning. Those pictures could have been used in the inside pages.
