Blame game

February 14, 2012 12:50 am | Updated 12:50 am IST

Blaming others or pointing a finger at others is the easiest thing to do (“Blame game: a universal disease,” Open Page, Feb. 12). The ruling party blames the previous government for all ills. The boss blames his subordinates for failures so that he can climb the ladder of success. A performer becomes a non-performer overnight if a finger is pointed at him. Husbands and wives blame one another for failures … the list is endless and will remain as long as the universe exists. We do not spare even god and blame him for our failures.

Very few take responsibility for their actions. But such people hardly succeed in life. Our body is perhaps the only wonderful mechanism in which all organs function without blaming one another.
