>>In a report on the >remarks of the Mahant of Sankat Mochan temple about Modi’s drive to clean Ganga (Dec. 15, 2015), there was a reference to the count of Faecal Coli Form (FCC) in river water - expressed in per 100 ML of water. It is correct to say ml (in lower case) while abbreviating millilitres, as a reader has pointed out.

>>“ >Gaps in Pak probe into 26/11 ” (Dec 14, 2015) described David Coleman Headley as a Pakistani of American origin . Actually, he is an American citizen of Pakistani origin .

>>A sentence in the Business page report, “ >Traders, industrialists lobby for early rollout of GST ” (Dec. 14, 2015), read: “ Any constitutional amendment bill needs to be approved by a two-third majority in both Houses of Parliament and ratified by half the state legislative assemblies before it takes effect.” A reader pointed out that only those amendments affecting the federal structure of the Constitution need ratification by half of state legislature assemblies. The Business Desk clarifies that GST comes under the category of a constitutional amendment affecting the federal structure of the Constitution.
