>>A quote attributed to Natalie de Souza, chief editor, Nature Methods, in “ > Gene editing on a roll, but safe to clear the way?” (Weekend Being, Dec, 13, 2015) read: “Editing embryonic cells could be very interesting for research purposes and in my view does not have the same ethical implications as editing the genome of a human embryo.” It should have been embryonic stem cells.

>>In the front page story “ > No secrecy, just precaution” (Dec. 14), Sartaj Aziz has been referred to as National Security Adviser. Mr. Aziz is actually the Pakistan Prime Minister’s Adviser on National Security and Foreign Affairs.
