Corrections and clarifications: Sept 11

A sentence in a report, “Indian wins $1.9 mn in UAE draw” (September 8, 2017) said, six other Indians walked home with ₹1.75 crore each as prize money. The prize money should have been ₹17.5 lakh .

A Business page report headlined, “No data on black money yet, says RBI” (Sept. 5, 2017) erroneously said that an estimated ₹15,280 crore in junked notes had come back “subject to future corrections..” The figure should have been ₹15.28 lakh crore .
