Corrections and clarifications — April 14, 2022

April 14, 2022 12:12 am | Updated 12:12 am IST

The story about the CBI getting custody of fugitive diamantaire Nirav Modi’s aide Subhash Shankar Parab (April 13, 2022) had erroneously said in the headline and text that Mr. Parab was arrested in Cairo. The agency actually got custody of Mr. Parab after he was brought back to India.

In a report headlined “Cong. appoints new chief for Punjab” (April 10, 2022, early editions) it was erroneously mentioned that Amarinder Singh Brar had lost the recent polls. In fact, he had won the election from the Gidderbaha seat.
