Congress kicks off Lok Sabha poll campaign from Gujarat

Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said "no sacrifice is too great and no effort is too little" to keep the BJP and RSS out of power, as the the Congress Working Committee (CWC) deliberated political strategy in Ahmedabad.

Trinamool includes 41% women candidates in list for Lok Sabha polls

With 41% women candidates,  West Bengal  Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee declared the Trinamool Congress’ candidate list for 2019 Lok Sabha election. Ms. Banerjee named candidates in all 42 seats, replacing about 50% of the incumbents. Altogether, 19 out of 42 candidates have been replaced in the list announced by Ms. Banerjee on Tuesday afternoon.
