Bombay High Court dismisses Varavara Rao’s plea for permanent bail

A Division Bench of Justices S.B. Shukre and G.A. Sanap also dismissed Mr. Rao’s plea seeking a transfer back to Telangana.

Karnataka Minister K.S. Eshwarappa rules out resignation over death of contractor

The Minister told the media that he had spoken to BJP State president Nalin Kumar Kateel and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. “I will meet the Chief Minister in a day or two, and explain everything in detail in person,” he said.
