Activists say Syrian forces have resumed shelling an opposition stronghold in Homs a day after attacks on the area killed about 30 people including two Western journalists.
The activists say intense barrages on Thursday hit residential districts in the besieged Baba Amr neighbourhood. There was no immediate word on casualties.
On Wednesday, shelling killed Marie Colvin, a veteran war reporter for Britain’s Sunday Times , and French photographer Remi Ochlik.
