The mortal remains of Francis D’Souza, former deputy chief minister and BJP MLA, were laid to rest with full State honours at St. Jerome’s Church at Mapusa on Saturday.

D’Souza’s body was draped in the Tricolour and accorded a guard of honour. D’Souza (64) passed away after a prolonged illness on Thursday afternoon. He was elected as MLA for five terms from Mapusa constituency.
