Kerala hartal: protest marches taken out to various district police headquarters

The Hindu Aikya Vedi and Sabarimala Karma Samithi called a dawn-to-dusk flash hartal across Kerala on Saturday to protest the arrest of Vedi president K.P. Sasikala in Pathanamthitta on Friday night. The two organisations were spearheading the protests against the Supreme Court verdict allowing women of all ages to visit the Ayyappa temple.
