A youth of Bathukammakunta of Kamareddy town was found dead in a pool of blood at Ganj Gate late last night. Police suspect he was killed by unknown persons by hitting him hard on his head with boulders.
The victim, identified as Syed Taufeeq (28) was working as a hamali at the grain market was unmarried and staying away from his family.
According to Town CI, S. Jagdish, the victim was leading a life of a vagabond and would not go to his home where his mother Shabana Begum and three sisters stayed.
The exact reason for his murder was not immediately known. A murder case has been registered and his body has been sent to Government hospital for post-mortem examination, said the CI of Police.
