Yadagirigutta temple administration has increased the darshan ticket price to Rs. 50 from the earlier Rs. 25 and has removed darshan for Rs. 100 on weekends. This is to reduce queue lines to just three, including divya darshan on all weekdays, and make darshan of the presiding deity hassle-free.

Earlier, there were queue lines for Rs. 25 darshan ticket ( seegra darshan ), Rs. 100 ticket ( athi seegra darshan ) and Rs. 150 ticket (VIP darshan), in addition to divya darshan on weekends and special days.

Now that the temple administration has increased the price of seegra darshan ticket to Rs. 50, the queue line will be there throughout the week, but there would no athi seegra darshan queue line on weekends as the administration has decided to convert Rs. 100 ticket to VIP darshan ticket on weekends.

Since the temple earns about 30 per cent of its income from the sale of VIP darshan tickets on weekends, the administration has decided to continue selling the same, sources said.
