Being vexed by the alcoholic and physically-challenged son, his mother Vannam Bhudeva axed Ravi (27) to death at their residence at Kotagally of Banswada early this morning.
Surrenders
After repeatedly hitting on Ravi’s head with an axe, Bhudeva, who is a widow, surrendered before the police.
The police immediately took her to the scene of offence where they found the body of Ravi in a pool of blood.
They shifted the body to Area Hospital where doctors declared Ravi dead.
Ravi, who lost his hands due to an electric shock in his childhood, used to harass her mother for his second.
His first wife had seprated with him a few years ago due to his bad behaviour. Since then, he was allegedly using abusive language towards his mother.
Bhudeva’s elder son committed suicide five years ago and younger son Anil Kumar also stays with her.
Banswada Circle Inspector Srinivas Reddy and Sub-Inspector Chandrashekar are investigating the case.
