The district wing of TRS is planning a grand civic reception and felicitation to Warangal West MLA D Vinay Bhaskar on January 24. The party has appealed to people to attend in large numbers.
TRS district president T Ravinder Rao said felicitation was arranged on the occasion of Mr. Vinay Bhaskar taking over as Parliamentary Secretary in-charge of Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
He would be arriving in Hanamkonda accompanied by IT Minister K T Rama Rao. Mr Ravinder Rao said the contribution of Mr Vinay Bhaskar was invaluable to the separate Telangana movement. He played an active role in strengthening the party in the district and was instrumental in securing a unanimous vote from the slum dwellers for one-plus-one housing which the Chief Minister himself offered to the poor. “It is time to set aside politics and hence I appeal to leaders of all political parties to come together and secure development of district since the government was keen on new projects and proposals for Warangal,” Mr Ravinder Rao said.
He added that the function would be held at Venkateswara function hall and it would be attended by all MLAs, MPs and others of TRS party.
