Two tribal hamlets to be developed

District Collector N. Satyanarayana has said that the district administration will develop tribal hamlets Yellammatanda and Bagarthipally in Lingampet and Biknoor mandals respectively with all necessary facilities undertaking the two on pilot basis. Conducting gram sabha on the premises of the primary school building at Yellammatanda, on Sunday, the Collector said that with ₹1 crore the tribal hamlet would be developed within five months. A comprehensive survey would be done by officials of all the departments and begin work soon, he said. The District Collector also explained to the residents about various developmental and welfare schemes launched and to be implemented by the State Government. Accompanied by the elected representatives of the local bodies and officials, he went round the hamlet and even personally observed the economic status. At Bagarthipally in a meeting with the residents he got to know the problems at Dalithwada and assured them of resolving issues in a phased manner with a systematic plan. All the 53 households would be uplifted by economically and socially elevating them, he said. Revenue Divisional Officers of Yellareddy and Kamareddy, and District Tribal Welfare Officer Gangadhar attended.
