Two farmers commit suicide

Srinivas Goud (35), a farmer from Konaiypally village of Daultabada mandal of Medak district committed suicide by consuming pesticide. The incident took place late Tuesday night. Srinivas Goud took three acres land on lease in addition to one acre land that he already had. He took the extreme step as the crop failed. He is survived by his wife, daughter and son.

A 45-year-old farmer, Jakkula Venkataiah, a resident of Venkatampet village of Deveraonda mandal, committed suicide by hanging himself. According to locals, Venkataiah was reportedly deep in debt.
