TU Urdu faculty honoured

Telangana University Urdu Department head Athar Sultana and assistant professor Moosa Qureshi were honoured by the Minority Welfare Ministry of the Government of Telangana for their active role during the week-long Telangana celebrations held from June 2 to 7. accordng to a presss release issued by the university here on Thursday

Cash prize

Athar Sultana and Moosa Qureshi were given a cash prize of Rs.4,000 each and scrolls for their research papers submitted in the seminar held during the celebrations.

Articles

Athar Sultana wrote an article on Urdu language development and its styles during the Nizam Nawabs’ rule while Qureshi submitted the paper on cultural and traditional life and communal harmony in the Seventh Nawab’s period, the university press release added.
