Telangana University professor M. Dharma Raj was felicitated here on completion of his service on Thursday.

At an event organised to honour the retiring academician, the speakers lauded his services to the budding university in various capacities and added that he brought dignity to all the positions he held during his term.

University Registrar R. Limbadri, who was the chief guest, said that Prof. Dharma Raj was a great academician and he has set a magnificent example to be emulated as a scholar, researcher, and a teacher.

“He never stepped inside a class without proper preparation which is why he was honoured with the Best Teacher Award by the State government,” he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dharma Raj thanked the teaching and non-teaching staff for showering such praise on him and for their cooperation during his term.

He said that he was ready to offer his services to the university even after his retirement.
