TT tourney kicks off

The five-day annual table tennis tournament got off to an impressive start at Gautami Nagar in Aswapuram on Sunday.

According to a press release, K. Vishwanath, chief general manager, Heavy Water Plant, Manuguru, inaugurated the tournament at Tarangini indoor stadium at Gautami Nagar on Sunday.

A total of eight teams representing various constituent units of the Department of Atomic Energy from all over the country are participating in the tournament. The closing ceremony of the tournament will be held at Tarangini sports hall on January 22.
