TRAI reaches out to consumers

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted a telecom consumer outreach programme here on Tuesday.

Telecom consumers from various parts of the town and elsewhere in the district participated in the programme. The representatives of telecom service providers and members of consumer forums were among those present, according to a press release.

Addressing the participants, G Muralidhar, Adviser and Regional Head, TRAI, Hyderabad region, explained about a slew of initiatives taken for telecom consumer protection.

He highlighted the rights and privileges of telecom consumers.
