Telangana Jana Samiti president M. Kodandaram said that the party had taken up an internal discussion on contesting the coming Parliament elections while reviewing its performance in Assembly polls. There could be no final word on what to do in Parliament elections unless the review is completed, Mr. Kodandaram told reporters in an informal chat on Saturday.

He said the party will write letters to the President and Chief Election Commissioner seeking a comprehensive inquiry into the deviations and discrepancies that crept into conduct of Assembly elections. The Chief Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar had admitted that 22 lakh voters could not exercise their franchise but the responsibility for the lapse was not fixed, he said.
