Cooperation between police on either side of the border of Telangana and Maharashtra is essential for conducting free and fair elections. This was underscored on Friday at a meeting of top police officers from Adilabad, Nirmal and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts in North Telangana and Nanded, Yavatmal and Chandrapur districts in Maharashtra, which share borders.
