Bharateeya Janata Party leader G. Kishan Reddy and others who embarked on a padayatra demanding completion of irrigation projects were arrested here on Thursday. They started their padayatra at Kanthanpally in Eturunagaram mandal in Warangal District and proposed to reach Devadula Project.

The police said the BJP leaders had no permission for padayatra. Speaking to newsmen, Mr. Kishan Reddy said that they were fighting on projects for a long time even before the TRS came to power. The BJP does not need advise from the TRS leaders and they know what to do.
