Minister for BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Gangula Kamalakar has issued instructions for daily supply of drinking water under Mission Bhagiratha to the people of Karimnagar town from January 2020.

At a review meeting on Mission Bhagiratha works in Karimnagar urban and rural areas here on Monday, the Minister said 90 per cent works were completed and instructed officials to expedite the remaining work at the earliest and take up trial run of the water supply to check for leakages.

Directing them to take all measures to supply water daily in Karimnagar town tentatively from the new year, he asked the officials to complete fixing of pipes for Satavahana University, Housing Board Colony and Markfed Mission Bhageeratha overhead tanks.
