June 21, 2014 04:17 pm | Updated 04:17 pm IST - NIZAMABAD

Jarupula Rukma Bai (45) and her daughter Latha (16) were found dead at their residence at Kishan tanda (tribal hamlet) under Kunepally gram panchayat of Renjal police station limits early this morning.

Police rushed to the spot on the complaint lodged by Pool Singh, husband of Rukma Bai saying that his wife and daughter died of snake bite. However, the police registered the case as deaths happened under suspicious conditions following the complaint given by Bai’s siblings alleging that they were poisoned to death.

Head Constable Gangaram said that the bodies were being shifted to Government Hospital in Nizamabad for post-mortem examination. Pool Singh was very much available for interrogation and accompanying the bodies.

The couple has two more children- a daughter and a son.
