School teaches students to respect mother

February 26, 2018 08:00 pm | Updated 08:00 pm IST - INDERVELLI (ADILABAD DT.)

The importance of a mother for her children, be them young or old, got reiterated on Sunday at the Tribal Welfare Ashram School, Indervelli mandal in Adilabad district when students spoke on the subject. They also got to greet their mothers who had occupied the dais which was something new in their routine.

The idea of getting students to see their mothers in a different light was floated by school headmaster Kathle Gangaram, who invited the latter to the school. He made the women occupy seats on the dais which in itself was like according them honour.

Class X students Thodasam Bheembai, Jadhav Supraja and Rathod Puja spoke about the various ways in which a mother protects and brings up her children. By shedding more light on such aspects, they drove home the point that the students should be even more grateful to their mother and take care of her when needed.

The students later greeted the women seated on the dais. The reverence was all too visible.
