Rs. 1 crore for Swachh Karimnagar

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme, the Cholamandalam investments and finance corporation has donated Rs. 1 crore for taking up drinking water and sanitation works as part of the ‘Swachh Karimnagar’ programme.

Cholamandalam senior vice-president Chandrashekhar and others handed over the cheque of Rs. 1 crore to Karimnagar MP B. Vinod Kumar in the presence of Zilla Parishad chairperson, Tula Uma, in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.

The funds will be spent by the Balavikas voluntary organisation for providing drinking water and other sanitation works in some villages of Koheda and Bejjanki mandals of Karimnagar Parliamentary constituency.
