Alleging that Seemandhra government had targeted him by denying suitable posting during the statehood movement for raising

voice of concern for Telangana state, Inspector of police (CID) Karimnagar district Dasari Bhumaiah has urged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to provide him with suitable posting in Telangana State.

Talking to newsmen here on Saturday, he said that when APNGOs had conducted a meeting in Hyderabad in September 2013, Srinivas, a Telangana police constable doing bandobust duty at the venue raised Jai Telangana slogans. However, he was nabbed by the police and was thrashed severely.

He said that he had condemned the incident as the district police officers association general secretary in Karimnagar town when he was working as Jammikunta CI.

“Subsequently, the Seemandhra government had targeted me and issued two charge memos and removed the gunmen security and posted to CID,” he complained.

Later, the government had again provided gunmen following a petition, he said. Alleging that the Telangana State government had been providing suitable postings to the officers, who suppressed the statehood movement at the behest of Seemandhra leaders, he said that the government had not rewarded the police constable Srinivas, who raised slogan of Jai Telangana at APNGOs meeting. He urged the Chief Minister to reward the police officials, who had strived for the Telangana statehood movement, in the newly formed separate Telangana State.
