The Telugu Desam Party, Telangana unit, has demanded that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao dismiss Housing Minister A. Indrakaran Reddy from his Cabinet for alleged irregularities in the Housing Department.

TDP-TS working president A. Revanth Reddy ridiculed the Minister for his “inefficiency” in ensuring construction of the promised double-bedroom houses in his native village while his department had handed over valuable government land to corporates in the name of developmental projects.

The government could complete construction of 976 double-bedroom houses in the State so far as against the 22 lakh applications received from eligible families.
