Private bus gutted in Medak district

A private bus was gutted down in a fire accident that took place at Chiragpally in Medak district in the wee hours of Monday.

According to Zaheerabad Circle Inspector S. Laksminarayana, the bus operated by BGR travels, with 40 passengers was coming from Mumbai to Hyderabad. Suddenly it caught fire. One Srinu, a road repair worker, observed smoke emanating from the rear side of the bus and alerted the driver who stopped the bus. 

The passengers got down immediately from the bus and the bus was completely gutted down. However, no one was injured in the accident. Fire engine was pressed into service to douse the fire.

Alternate arrangements were being made to passengers.
