Police inspector injured in Nalgonda

Nalgonda Special Branch Inspector, K. Bhaskar sustained a bullet injury when a 9 mm pistol misfired in Nalgonda Police headquarters while a constable was cleaning it here on Friday morning.

He was shifted to Nalgonda government hospital. However, the doctors have discharged him after providing first aid since it was just a bleeding injury. Mr. Bhaskar told The Hindu, he was attending a meeting at the SP office.

But, he came out of the meeting hall to attend an important phone call. Some Police personnel were cleaning weapons nearby when one of the weapon got misfired. The doctors have said that his condition was stable.
