Police embark on anti-Maoist poster campaign

The Bhadrachalam sub-divisional police have embarked on a poster campaign as part of anti-Maoist operations in the interior areas of Bhadrachalam division bordering the strife-torn Chhattisgarh State.

According to reliable sources, wall posters containing the pictures of a few underground top Maoist leaders carrying cash rewards ranging from Rs. 1.31 crore to Rs. 2.52 crore on their heads surfaced at Lakshminagaram in Dummugudem mandal of the district on Saturday.

Similar posters reportedly surfaced in a few other remote areas in Bhadrachalam division on Sunday, sources added.
