Withdraw cases against TS protagonists

Karimnagar Member of Parliament B. Vinod Kumar has urged Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu to withdraw cases filed by the railway police against Telangana protagonists during the separate Telangana statehood movement.

In a letter addressed him, he said that the UPA government and then Home Minister P. Chidambaram had announced withdrawal of all cases registered against the Telangana protagonists on December 9, 2009. He urged the Railway Minister to instruct the South Central Railway authorities to withdraw cases which are pending in Railway Court, Secunderabad.
