Pension aspirants stage protest

January 20, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:42 am IST - NIZAMABAD:

Aspirants for the social security pensions from Konasamunder village staged protest before the Tahsil office in Kammarpally mandal headquarters demanding the authorities to sanction pensions for them, on Monday.

Meanwhile the rasta roko staged on Nizamabad-Basar road by their counterparts in Navipet mandal led to mild tension with police registering cases against them. The MPP president Rajender Goud appealed to police to withdraw the cases as they staged rasta roko out of agony after a long wait for the pensions.
