‘Palle Samagra Seva Kendram’ begins

A one-stop service point with digital connectivity christened “Palle Samagra Seva Kendram” has commenced its operations at the gram panchayat office in Vemsoor on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi on Friday.

The seva kendram will deliver select services digitally. A total of ten such centres have become operational in select gram panchayats in the district coinciding with Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations on Friday.

Minister for Roads and Buildings T. Nageswara Rao inaugurated the centre in Vemsoor mandal headquarters on Friday evening. He handed over birth certificate to Srisailam and Sravani, the parents of a baby boy, on the occasion.

He said the Palle Samagra Seva Kendrams would enable the rural masses access select services in their gram panchayats in a hassle-free, transparent and prompt manner.

Collector D.S. Lokesh Kumar said the seva kendrams will be set up in 250 more gram panchayats those having broadband internet access in the district soon.
