NTPC organises ‘Best Out of the Waste’ competition

200 students from 10 schools exhibit models

As part of the Environment Month celebrations, NTPC, Ramagundam, conducted ‘Best Out of the Waste’ competition for school students of NTPC township and adjoining villages of Ramagundam mandal on Saturday.

A total of 200 students from 10 schools, including four from NTPC township, participated in the competition and exhibited their models made of waste materials. Besides, 12 women from NTPC participated in the spouses category. NTPC Ramagundam executive director DK Dubey visited the exhibition and appreciated the students for their creativity and concern for the environment. AGM (IT) Anil Kumar, AGM (P&S) Sagarika Mohanty were the judges. General manager (TS) S.R. Bhavaraju, AGM (TS) G.V.V. Venugopal Rao, AGM-EMG Y.S. Gupta were present.
