NTPC hands over toilets to govt. schools

The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), Ramagundam, handed over the newly constructed toilets to government schools taken up as part of the Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan programme.

At a programme at MPP School in Godavarikhani, Peddapalli MP Balka Suman, Ramagundam Legislator S. Satyanarayana, NTPC Group general manager P.K. Mohapatra, GM (O&M) Ram Kubher and others inaugurated the Swachh Vidyalaya toilets and handed over the same to the school. On the occasion, the MP and MLA appreciated NTPC for the early completion of toilets that are of good quality.

Similarly, toilets were also inaugurated and handed over to schools in Manthani and Sultanabad mandals on Sunday.

The NTPC Ramagundam had decided to construct 741 toilets in four districts – Nalgonda (25 toilets), Karimnagar (510), Mahabubnagar (118) and Warangal (88) – at a cost of Rs. 13.68 crore.
