NTPC chips in for ‘Mission Kakatiya’

Inspired by the State government’s ambitious the ‘Mission Kakatiya’ programme, the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), Ramagundam, had also decided to take up revival and strengthening of a village tank in Mallyalapalli village of Ramagundam mandal at a cost of Rs.10 lakh.

The NTPC had taken up the programme as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.

Ramagundam legislator S. Satyanarayana formally launched the desiltation works on Thursday. On this occasion, he also removed silt from the tank.
