NTPC awaits nod for power plant

NTPC is awaiting identification of land by the Telangana government and establishment of coal linkage by the Coal Ministry for setting up a 4,000 MW power plant in the new State. State-owned NTPC is to establish a 4,000 MW power plant in Telangana as per the 13th Schedule of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.

“NTPC is awaiting identification of land by Government of Telangana and establishment of coal linkage by Ministry of Coal, Government of India,” Minister of State for Power Piyush Goyal on Monday informed the Rajya Sabha in a written reply.-PTI
