‘Notifications for 7 lakh jobs will be issued’

Forest Minister Jogu Ramanna on Sunday said the government was preparing to issue notifications for as many as 7 lakh jobs in the coming months.

He said the recruitment process was in accordance with the ruling TRS party’s avowed objective of providing employment to the unemployed after the State formation.

Laying foundation stone for Telangana martyrs’ column near the R&B guesthouse, the Minister said the government had already announced 43 per cent fitment in the pay revision for employees, thereby fulfilling another commitment.

Similarly, he said the State government also cared for the families of martyrs and had released an ex gratia of Rs. 10 lakh to each of such family.

Mr. Ramanna said people in the district will pay homage to the martyrs at the upcoming martyrs’ column on June 2 in connection with the State Formation Day.

Adilabad MP G. Nagesh, TNGOs Union Adilabad president S. Ashok and others were present.
