‘No cases in Warangal’

Not a single case of swine flu has been reported in the district so far, said Tourism & Culture principal secretary B P Acharya who was sent as special officer to take stock of the situation here on Thursday.

Accompanied by Collector V Karuna and other officials, Mr Acharya visited MGM Hospital and went round the wards. He inspected the availability of medicines and sanitation on the premises. Later in a meeting with the officials at the Collectorate, he instructed the officials to launch a massive awareness campaign in rural areas and stock medicines at all local hospitals. A toll free number was arranged at the Collectorate and people were asked to inform about any swine flue case calling 18004250095.
