Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday called upon the people of Narasannapeta village in Jagadevpur mandal of Gajwel constituency to transform the village into a learning centre for the entire state.

Mr. Rao made a stopover at the village while returning to his farm house at Erravalli in Jagadevpur, and interacted with the villagers for about an hour. “Narasannapeta should be transformed as a learning centre for the state by taking up all activities. The village appearance should change by next June. We are ready to provide drip irrigation for about 1,500 acres of land in the village,” he said while addressing the grama sabha.

The CM said that about 200 houses were sanctioned for the village and the old houses would be demolished only after the construction of temporary accommodation.
