Naidu asks party leaders not to make remarks on Governor

June 19, 2015 03:21 pm | Updated 03:35 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed his Cabinet colleagues and senior party leaders to refrain from making any comments against Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan.

The directive comes in the light of remarks made by Ministers K. Atchannaidu and Palle Raghunatha Reddy against the Governor. Mr. Narasimhan has apparently conveyed his unhappiness over the Ministers’ comments and Mr. Atchannaidu has since announced his readiness to withdraw his remarks against the institution of the Governor.

Mr. Naidu, according to sources, has taken a serious view of the comments made by his Cabinet colleagues and issued clear instructions against making any remarks against the Governor.
