A 25-year-old woman allegedly hanged her to death at Madamadaka village of Devarakonda mandal here on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Gundala Yadamma. However, kin of Yadamma alleged that her husband killed Yadamma. A case was registered.
Meanwhile, another woman attempted suicide at Hanampur village of Bhongir mandal. The victim, identified as Jhangirbi, 33, was married to Jamaluddin. The couple had an argument over a petty issue on Thursday and the woman doused herself with kerosene before setting ablaze. She was rushed to a hospital.
