A mock terrorist attack drill by the CISF quick response team and sniffer dog squad show were the highlights of the 73rd Independence Day celebrations at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad on Thursday.

CEO S.G.K. Kishore hoisted the national flag amidst the rendition of the national anthem.

Passenger comfort

Mr. Kishore highlighted the efforts of GHIAL and its stakeholders towards passenger comfort and spoke about the expansion of the airport, which is all set to give a futuristic and tech-enabled seamless experience.

He emphasised that passenger commitment with technology initiatives and operational excellence were always at the core of the organisation’s functioning. He thanked CISF, regulatory agencies and all airport stakeholders, for the support extended. Chief Airport Security Officer (CASO), CISF, RGIA Airport Sachin Badshah, IPS, DIG, also graced the occasion.
